Ore Lachinooch operates an individual-group mentoring program between high school students and sixth-grade "invisible" students from the social periphery of Israel, in preparation for the transition to middle school and their adult lives. Ore's branches are led by scholarship university students who are interested in promoting social change, gaining professional experience and enjoying a significant scholarship.

At the end of the 2020-21 school year of activity, 73% of the mentees said that they are much more prepared for middle school, 74% of the elementary school educational staff said that the mentees are more prepared for middle school, 95% of the mentees, parents, school staff and mentors said that they would recommend the activity to others and 86% of the mentors said that the activity strengthened their empathy for the other.
