The Meir Harel Community Center was established in 2005 in Modi'in in memory of two IDF soldiers who fell in line of duty: Sergeant Meir Shenvald, who was killed in Kfar Darom and Lieutenant Harel Sherem, who died in battle in Lebanon.
The Yeshiva commemorates Sgt. Yehonatan Einhorn, who was killed in the Second Lebanon War, Lieutenant Colonel Avner Goldman, who was killed in the helicopter disaster in Romania, and the late Lieutenant General Amnon Lipkin-Shachak, who was a partner in the establishment of the Yeshiva.
The Gar'in (center) is active in Ofakim and Kiryat Ono. It works in the field of Torah education and encourages preparation for IDF quality service and military command.
It directs students and its participants to contribute to the community in order to create a bridge between religious and secular people, to help people with special needs, as well as new immigrants and pensioners.
It aids Yeshiva Students who are medics and paramedics, who deal with saving lives in the community and in the IDF.
It publishes written material on Judaism, army, leadership and society.
